These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all prize competitions (“Competitions”) operated by Ez Competitions (“the Promoter”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By entering any Competition, you (“the Entrant”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
Ez Competitions is the Promoter and operator of all Competitions.
2.1 Competitions are open to natural persons aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
2.2 Entrants must provide accurate and complete information when entering a Competition.
2.3 Employees, contractors, agents of the Promoter, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter. Any such entries will be void. If discovered after a prize has been awarded, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the win and redraw.
2.4 International Entrants:
(a) Entrants outside the United Kingdom are permitted; however, they bear full responsibility for ensuring that participation is lawful under the laws of their country of residence.
(b) The Promoter accepts no liability for void entries, unlawful participation, or any legal consequences in the Entrant’s jurisdiction.
(c) The Entrant is solely responsible for all customs, taxes, fees, duties, charges, or restrictions imposed in their country.
3.1 Competitions may be entered by either:
(a) Paid Online Entry – by purchasing entries via the Promoter’s website. Entrants selecting this method may choose from any ticket numbers available at the time of purchase.
(b) Free Postal Entry – by sending an entry by first- or second-class post to the postal address specified on the Promoter’s website. The postal entry must include:
3.2 Ticket Allocation for Postal Entries:
(a) Postal entrants do not choose ticket numbers.
(b) Upon receipt, the system will automatically assign the next available ticket number.
(c) If a Competition has sold out before the postal entry is received and processed, the entry will be void and not included in the draw. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for postal entries received after a Competition has sold out.
(d) All postal entrants must either hold an existing online account with the Promoter or register for a new account prior to entry. Failure to hold or create an account will prevent ticket allocation and will render the postal entry invalid.
3.3 Each free postal entry must be submitted in a separate stamped envelope. Bulk entries in a single envelope will not be accepted.
3.4 All entries must be received before the Competition closing date and time as published.
3.5 The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are incomplete, late, lost, misdirected, illegible, or damaged.
4.1 Prizes include, but are not limited to:
4.2 Where physical or cash fulfilment is not possible internationally, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a digital equivalent of equal or greater value.
4.3 No alternative, substitution, or transfer of prizes is permitted unless expressly stated by the Promoter.
5.1 Each entry corresponds to a unique ticket number within the Competition.
5.2 Once all available tickets are allocated (via paid or free entry), the draw will be conducted using a secure automated random draw system.
5.3 If the system randomly selects a ticket number that has not been allocated, the draw will be re-run until a valid, allocated ticket number is drawn.
5.4 Once a Competition is active, the draw system cannot be altered or influenced by the Promoter’s staff.
5.5 In the event of system failure, evidence of cheating, or technical irregularities, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Competition. In such case:
(a) All paid entrants shall receive a full refund.
(b) All free postal entrants shall be notified of the cancellation.
6.1 Winners will be notified using the contact details provided at the time of entry.
6.2 Winners must respond within 14 calendar days of notification to claim their prize. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture, and the Promoter reserves the right to redraw.
6.3 For transparency, the Promoter reserves the right to publish the first and last names of winners on its website and associated media.
6.4 By entering, Entrants consent to the publication of their name unless they notify the Promoter in writing that they object to publicity.
7.1 Refunds will only be issued in the following circumstances:
(a) Cancellation of a Competition by the Promoter.
(b) Duplicate payments made in error.
7.2 Refunds are processed in GBP (£). International entrants accept liability for any exchange rate fluctuations or third-party fees.
8.1 The Promoter operates a zero-tolerance policy on unfair conduct.
8.2 The following actions shall constitute grounds for disqualification and/or permanent account suspension:
8.3 The Promoter reserves the right to void any entry that it reasonably believes breaches these Terms.
9.1 The Promoter shall not be liable for:
(a) Technical, postal, or system failures preventing valid entry.
(b) Ticket numbers becoming unavailable at the time of allocation. In such cases, an alternative ticket will be assigned as per Clause 3.2.
(c) Postal entries received after a Competition has sold out.
(d) Delays or restrictions in delivering prizes to international entrants.
(e) Any additional charges, fees, or taxes incurred by international winners.
9.2 Nothing in these Terms shall limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
10.1 Entrants’ personal data is collected solely for the administration of Competitions.
10.2 Data will be processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
10.3 By entering, Entrants consent to the use of their details for winner verification, notification, and limited publicity as set out in Section 6.
11.1 The Promoter reserves the right to:
(a) Amend Competition dates or details where reasonably necessary.
(b) Cancel or suspend Competitions under circumstances beyond its control.
(c) Refuse entry to any Entrant in breach of these Terms.
12.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 Entrants agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising under these Terms.
